The Trapezoidal Table

The idea for this came from the oak tree that I cut out of my boss’s back yard.  It currently sits in my office.

The Details: Table top is made from 8000psi white concrete which was ground down at the edges to transition into the red oak border. The red oak on top was split in a pattern similar to “quarter-sawn” lumber which adds character to the wood. The rough split base and top received 6 coats of poly-urethane and the concrete was sealed separately.
The top tapers from 19.5″ down to 10″ and is 22″ deep. It stands 23″ tall. The trapezoidal shape fits well between chairs as seen in the picture.

No longer available: Let me know if you would like a table similar to this one.
